Fox News did not air a second of the speeches from alienated GOP leaders and former Trump officials who endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris at this week’s Democratic National Convention.

Only one of two candidates will win. So, unlike you MAGAs, I’m voting for the outcome that won’t include Donald “finishing the job.”

You are the reason the Democrats are doing genocide. If they knew they’d lose voters because of their stance on Israel they would be forced to change their platform. They believe they can commit unlimited genocide because their voters are loyal dogs who will beg for more.

It’s actually people voting third party that forces Dems to chase people who will actually vote for them. 1/3 of the country doesn’t vote at all. If everyone voted so that the Repub platform was nonviable, the parties would have to move left to compete.

Why do you hate Ukrainians so much that you want them to be genocided? Why do you hate women so much that you want them to be unwilling incubators?

Republicans have only moved farther to the right after every single Democratic victory. 2008 turned them into insane racist teaparty lunies. 2020 turned them all MAGA. They’re just going to become even more deranged when Harris wins. Your theory can’t explain that.

None of that has anything to do with the Dems. You act like Dems are pushing the GOP further right which is hilarious.

The GOP is doing that on their own because that’s who they are and conservatives have always been.

The theory of why Democrats move towards Republican positions is that they do it as a response to Republican victory.

We both agree this isn’t how Republicans behave.

Let’s also remember 2020. Every candidate ran to the left of Clinton. The reality was that they didn’t move to the right after Trump’s first victory.

So it doesn’t look like this is how Democrats behave either.

This theory of politics isn’t backed up by the observed reality. Why do you think that is?

That’s Southern Strategy. I know you MAGAs actually enjoy the push towards white supremacy, but that would not be a viable strategy for riling up their voters if the remaining 1/3 of the country actually showed up.

There’s also a ratcheting effect, where your team puts in theocratic fascist SCOTUS justices. They then do stuff like steal elections (2000) or grant unlimited election interference to anyone with money (2010), alongside your desired goals like ending women’s rights to healthcare.

I’m voting downticket for Democrats, get off my nuts. I just won’t vote for genocide.

Why can’t Democrats have a Northern strategy?

They cannot have a Northern Strategy as a viable plan because 1/3 of the country just doesn’t vote. The racists and christofascists do vote, consistently, every election, for the furthest right option.

The Southern strategy motivated the South to vote in the first place. The Southern strategy turned electoral turnout in Texas from 527,000 to 1,015,000, in Florida from 614,000 to 901,000, and in Georgia from 200,000 to 401,000.

Yes, it brings the bigots to the polls, that is the point of why Repubs do it. The third party voters sit it out, indicating to Dems that they don’t give enough of a shit about any of the issues to actually vote for a preference. Dems follow right trying to collect voters who will actually vote.

I don’t know what the hell you are talking about with those numbers. What is that coming from? Did you go back and ask the MAGA think tank Discord for data or something? Here’s what I found https://www.americanpresidents.net/states/texas.php#1960results

Your numbers do not even make any sense. An absolute count instead of percentage of voting-eligible population or something? Get serious.
