The German federal government’s current budget planning does not provide for the allocation of new funds to support Ukraine, and the opposition is talking about freezing financial and, consequently, military support for Kyiv.
The budget is without such things, the Ukraine aid probability gets financed over different positions or special budgets because Germany has a constitutional break on making debt. And tbh, we don’t have enough money for our own stuff right now.
Edit: apparently the plan is to finance the weapons with frozen Russian assets, so even better.

Im speaking from a German perspective and all of this is pretty common knowledge here. Its also a major driver for the extreme right and the new pro Russia party (BSW, wich is quite basically a modern version of the SED from GDR)
