New song released from GUNSHIP !
Seeing as this meshed up 3 things I love and adore, I had overblown expectations of it that it didn’t initially live up to. BUT that said, I still really love the song now after relistening to it a few times.
You guys ever have that? Where a song doesn’t hit home with you on the first play but then grow to love? Some of my favorite music to listen to has been like that. I really didn’t care for several bands that are now part of my favorites since listening to them again and with more intent to understand the music.

Absolutely ! Also, I usually prefer to discover songs without video. I find video influence to much my perception, sometimes negatively.
I’m 50/50 on videos. But generally would prefer to listen without them for the first few listens to see if I really like the song. I’ve had several that I really liked with the video, but didn’t care for without. Like hey that’s a great backing track lol Disappointment.
Not a new song release actually, but a new music video inspired from old Japanese animation. Very cool.
