Man…when I was a kid, I didn’t understand politics. I thought one side had THESE ideas, and another opposing side had THOSE ideas. Then as a voter it would be my choice if I liked these ideas or those ideas.
Instead it seems to be one side is deeply fractured, and cannot agree on what side it represents, or even who should be running for president.
The other side is just a bunch of moraless hypocrites who are only not classified as criminals, because they write the laws to fit their actions. If a poor person tries what they do, it’s reclassified as a crime.
Adult me is very sad.

Same. I used to think people in office acted like it meant something, but they’re even more craven and self-serving than normal people.
one side is deeply fractured, and cannot agree on what side it represents
it represents rich people, they look fractured because they have to look like they represent common people and they are worse liars than the far right.
How do people like you never ever give the Dems any credit for all of the actual policy they pass??? It’s astounding.
Politics is really supposed to be about one thing and thats policy. You started with that but then changed over to culture war bullshit as your metric for who to vote for.
These ideas…Democrats have them it’s cl Called policy.
Those ideas Republicans don’t have them their policy has no solutions for working families.
Get a clue dude and look at the policy…
“This is ineffective at tackling the root problem. I have a better idea… doing nothing and letting the industry screw over my constituents!”
I found myself wondering if he is a Christian. Per Wikipedia, he and his spouse are “members of The Chapel on the Campus, a nondenominational Christian church that meets on LSU’s campus in Baton Rouge.”
In Christianity, much ado is made about caring for the poor. Just saying.

I guess not too generous though.
