What do you think of this project and cloud gaming in general? I thought it’s dead already

    Does anyone know why its called “netris”? The first time I saw the name, thought it would be a network Tetris game. :D I get the N, but why etris?

        If anything, they are playing on similarities to Stadia (even adding a keyword in the repositorys keyword list). I found this issue talking about the name: https://github.com/netrisdotme/netris/issues/48

        • Name is confusing, sounding either like a TETRIS clone or some type of network tool (other than “game streaming”).
        • Several preexisting projects on GitHub share the same name, not helping beating the confusion of the name. Not to mention other companies or software projects globally using the name already (a quick Google search will show up Netris VPC for example).

        But I don’t know, together with the rest of the reply this sounds a bit robotic like from an AI. I’m probably wrong here, but nowadays can you blame me for that? Whatever. My point is, they may even change the name if they are serious about this topic.
