Voyager is still very new, though. I haven’t had that issue with Jerboa, but I use Liftoff more. I’m still trying out clients to see which is my favorite. It seems like there’s a new one coming out every week now!
I have only been using Liftoff and whenever it doesn’t load which is not infrequent, I couldn’t get to the instance in Firefox or chrome or anywhere so I thought it was the instance opposed to the app
sync has consistently worked for me (so far) whereas jerboa and voyager have had issues connecting to lemmy servers
