Didn’t ask about transfers you expect to happen :/
I mean players who have a generally favourable position in the eyes of fans and whose exits would cause some controversy. But you want them out anyway.
Honestly think rn Nelson is more important than Nketiah, Nelson backing up Saka is a role I doubt many players would be willing to take while still having quality, whereas Nketiah while a very useful option is also in a position where we have many options and no clear first choice, and so a loss wouldn’t be as bad.
That’s a fair point. I suppose if we could find a winger similarly to Trossard (in that they are good bargains and can slot into the role) would be good.
Nketiah has stepped up for us on occasion and offers something different in attack, but we don’t seem to be too reliant on that since Arteta prefers players who help in the build up phase.
It’s a tough call, but I guess that’s what big clubs do to improve.
My argument for Nelson is the same that it has always been, honestly: find me someone who’d be willing to take his spot that’s better than him. Is he the best? No, I think most people can name better wingers. But he’s PL level, and willing to take his chances despite having literally the best winger in the world ahead of him. How many are gonna do that? Also I love the lad so I’m biased cuz of Bournemouth lol

I kinda read it similarly to your explanation.
My interpretation was players we were sweet on that we wanted to stay, but will probably be sold.
Players I want to leave that people like is difficult… I like Zinny and Jesus, but their availability is flying a crimson flag.
Maybe Nelson or Nketiah to a lesser extent? But, we’ve got to be mindful of home-grown players.

Ohh man, that was beautiful… I just watched a highlight of it again. It was like a pressure valve was let off, lol
