For at least several generations Zionists have worked to conflate their political ideology with the Jewish identity, in an attempt the shield themselves from legitimate ideological criticism. To say you did not support their racial supremacist beliefs was to be antisemitism. And for a long time this bullshit worked. Twenty years ago you couldn’t find any significant American politicians who did not support Israel in all its endeavors. Even several years ago members of congress criticizing Israel’s apartheid government resulted in the members of congress being sanctioned. Here is to hoping we stop falling for this crap and start treating evil governments accordingly.

“Several years” you mean several months. Rashida Tlaib was censured for criticizing Israel 4 months ago.

… implying that only subhumans stand in opposition. Cool. I wonder if there’s a word for this kind of thing.

It’s a cool format. I feel like it would flow a little better if the top and bottom were flipped, so the glasses off version is first.

Well, in the context of the movie, the reaction is pulling off the glasses in disbelief. However, I do agree that if a person was not intimately familiar with that particular scene it would seem out of order.
