my advice is to sort by new, there’s very few people here compared to the other platform and while federation allows for cross server interaction you still need people to post and vote a lot for hot to refresh like the other’s.
I don’t expect this to get anywhere near as big as the platform but once you’ve joined a couple communities new should refresh often enough.

Yeah, you don’t have to subject yourself to marxist garbage to get some content. Just subscribe to communities in multiple instances and browse your subs by new or hot.
