This ha nothing to do with EEE. Theyre making their own thing. If we want to talk about EEE lets talk about the things Mastodon does that makes it hard for Lemmy etc to federate with them.
Im sorry this attitude of “i dont care about FOSS having better design/features than the closed stuff, if its FOSS its better” really sucks. I want Lemmy to be better than reddit snd Mastodon to be better than twitter.
