- This meme is a good alibi if you ever wanna take your cat on a work road trip… - Is that even a thing or am I just weird for wanting to do it? - The majority of cats fucking hate cars, they’re very susceptible to motion sickness, and have a hard time adjusting. - My former work had a cat that sneaked onto a customer’s trailer, got off in town, then hitchhiked back. Later, she hopped in the UPS guy’s truck. He found her at the next stop and brought her back.
- My cat is pretty chill in the car… He’s surprisingly chill about almost everything, really.

- It could be dangerous, I wouldn’t take the risk - Yeah, you might find out that your cat is better at your job than you, that could ruin your self-esteem

- It’s happened in my company. The CSO was on a zoom call while driving with his cat in the car with him.

- Snuck - Both are fine. Sneaked is traditional. - “Sneaked” is the traditional past tense and past participle of the verb “sneak”. “Snuck” is a newer, nonstandard past tense of “sneak” that originated in the United States in the early 20th century. However, “snuck” is now widely accepted and appears in many publications - deleted by creator - Yeah, also when English is your first language you are not judged harshly when you make a mistake.
- same shit happened to me with french, though tbf, i just cant fucking stand spoken laungage, shit is a nightmare, and so is french.
- The constructed language Lojban doesn’t actually differentiate between adjectives, verbs, nouns and adverbs, because it turns out separating words into categories like that isn’t a useful exercise. - For example, is “shower” a noun or a verb? What about “bike?” - Take the word “green.” In English, color words are pretty strictly adjectives. in English, you say a traffic light “turns green.” In Lojban, you would say the light “is greening” or “greens.” Funny how you can also make English do that, huh?

- Speak Spuck. - It took me a minute to remember what the actual past tense of “speak” is. - Ah yes, spake :) - Spaked

- I should’ve really clarified. I wasn’t really trying to correct, I just find snuck to be way funnier. - deleted by creator

- This clip came to mind immediately while reading the note.

- Sneck

- My childhood cat came along for a family vacation one time. Climbed in while we were packing the car and we’d gone way too far to turn around when we found out. - What if he hadn’t sneaked along with you, what, were you just going to leave him at home alone to fend for himself while you’re gone? - We had a neighbor kid who was watching the house and caring for the 2 dogs and 2 other cats. Why would you make that assumption?

- Good cat.
- Took a kitten to SF years ago. Stinky, but fun.
- snuck, I’d have gone with snuck - Freestyle conjugation, maybe it’s a Westcountry thing.

- How did the cat get into the van to begin with, unless they have an irresponsible owner who lets them into the garage/outside? - Cats be cats. They do cat things, including sneaking into places they shouldn’t. - People like to say this but I’ve owned cats for nearly 30 years now and only ever had one that tried to sneak around. - only ever had one that tried to sneak around. - Oh, so you do understand that some cats try to sneak around, but decided to be judgemental about something you have experience with.
- Were any of the cats you’ve owned alive at the time?
- right, good for you 👍

- it’s almost sacrilegious to tell your cat what to do. - They just do things, they’re like passive aggressive adults that can’t speak. - …said every bad owner ever. - What a bizarre way to assert oneself.
- alright, go force your cat to do something it doesnt want to.

- Do you not allow your cats outside because of birds?
