There will come a nerd, like you, who just happens to love obscure wargames, or anthropology, or TRAINS. Become the DM of trains. Buy a bunch of set pieces and invite your uni students to open a box and build a massive train set along the desks of an empty lecture hall. Become Train Boy and you, too, shall have that which you seek.
