We’re too old. There’s a reason they recruit high schoolers. They don’t have enough life experience to know when they should say, “with all due respect sir, fuck that,” when given an unlawful order. Also they know we are more likely to kill the officers if we decide to go out.
I’m convinced this near-future sci-fi bullshit exists as a means of suckering in 19-year-olds who think they won’t be in the trenches getting mortars dropped on their heads.

Oh man. I remember watching that during Saturday morning cartoons as a kid. Pretty bonkers, but still not as crazy as the creepy texts military recruiters would send high schoolers.
