The craze for Stanley stainless steel drinking cups reached new levels last week when a woman was arrested and accused of stealing 65 of them, worth almost $2,500, from a store in California.

Police in Roseville, in Placer County, northeast of Sacramento, said Sunday that they were called Wednesday to a report of a theft from a store on Stanford Ranch Road in the city.

“Staff saw a woman take a shopping cart full of Stanley water bottles without paying for them. The suspect refused to stop for staff and stuffed her car with the stolen merchandise,” police said in a statement on Facebook.

Unlike the GPU or PS5 scalping crazes.

Could buy an AMD GPU or Xbox/PC.

Your obviously being sarcastic or ignorant. I did buy amd it was still expensive. And what do you think was making PCs expensive other than all of it… The freaking GPUs. Intel or amd.

Intel has integrated gpus on their mobile CPUs now.

Allows you to turn off the discrete gpu and save power on laptops.

Intel had intigrated graphics on CPU from very long ago well before laptops were packing discrete for gaming.

Eh… The top of the line Arc GPUs are only competitive with budget line Nvidia and AMD GPUs at about the same price point. And their drivers have had a lot of compatibility issues. It’s an option, and I hope they get better, but they’re not really a serious competitor yet.

They have discrete GPUs now too. They’re currently basically just budget GPUs, but it looks like they may be actual competitors soon.

I didn’t mention nvidia simply because they ended up screwing absolutely everybody over by stating that they were going to release some specific cards that were designed solely for crypto mining and then attempted to try and break their own firmware to prevent their graphical cards for gaming from being used for Bitcoin mining but that ended up being some b******* trickery they were a big portion of why the all of the cars ended up skyrocketing and price by allowing people to order multiples so that they could actually end up going for scalping blah blah blah blah blah I didn’t want to give them a platform so I left them out and once again you showed your ignorance By ignoring Intel I’m sorry for the long run on sentence I just don’t care to try and punctuate this

Everything nvidia did drove prices up and made cards more scarce. Fuck them I switched to full AMD only because of them.
