    Zoning laws need to change. If you build affordable housing that requires access to a personal car and at least an hour commute each way, then at t doesn’t really help anyone. We need to start building dense and we need to increase access to and the quality of public transit.

    There is no easy fix, but we can’t continue to ignore the problem and assume that something, if not everything, isn’t going to collapse.
