‘Better than Alpo’, dog remarks.
Happy to see my home town in the news
What’s up my fellow Yinzer
Not much, I actually know this reporter. I onced approached her while she was doing a story and asked her if she wanted to do a story on my cult. She took it surprisingly well and gave me her card, probably trying to get me to fuck off lol
Edit- Business card to prove it:
That’s an amazing story. Pittsburgh is so weird in all the best ways.
Happy to see the dog is ok, still a good boy and that they seemingly took it very lightly, about the money. Their concern was the dog’s well-being.
10/10 home town.
Fortunately there’s actually a government run ‘Mutilated Currency Division’ that will accept any currency that’s been destroyed in some manner (including eaten by a dog) and reimburse you for however much they can determine was there, assuming you live in the US, of course. https://youtu.be/trZmMCsgxUw
They’re pretty darned happy for a couple of people who just lost $4,000.
This is the best summary I could come up with:
Clayton Law put an envelope with a wad of cash on his kitchen counter in early December.
He and his wife, Carrie, needed the cash to pay for a project at their home in Pittsburgh’s Point Breeze neighborhood.
We could leave dinner and go to the kitchen and grab wine, and he would not touch the food, and he just doesn’t care.
Clayton and Carrie Law checked with their vet and the 100-pound dog was OK, but they were in a tough spot because they believed he swallowed at least $2,000.
The couple said they posted a video on social media sharing the story of Cecil’s expensive taste, and it got thousands of likes and comments.
“At one point, he was sitting on the couch, we were laughing, thinking there is potentially $2,000 inside of this dog,” said Carrie Law.
