Hello LemmyWorld! My name is Nicklas 🇸🇪, and I’ve been a Reddit user for almost 11 years, but I started getting disheartened when I found out that Reddit is shutting down Apollo and many other apps due to the extreme costs of Reddit’s API.

Hi! I joined reddit ~10 yrs ago. Deleted all my account posts and comments today once I found the fediverse. Happy to be gone from there for good, and happy to be here 😀

I’ll be using Apollo until the end of the month, and then I’ll remove every little puzzle piece from my Reddit account!

Hello! I was also a user of Reddit for nearly 11 years. Reddit is not what it used to be, besides the corporate administration, the community has gotten too bloated and separated. Looking forward to finding a new community here!
Thanks 😊 I recall that Reddit hasn’t always had good or beautiful moments in the previous years, unfortunately. Reddit stopped caring about its members and focused on profit, which is sad.
