A lot of game specific subreddits post update announcements, which were how I heard about stuff like that before I switched to Lemmy. On here, there’s not enough people yet for communities like that, so I’m looking to see how many people would be interested in a community that collects and shares news about game updates
I would definitely subscribe. Nowadays when games more often than not are released unfinished, updates usually bring important new features, so staying up to date is more important. For example I waited for a specific Update for Last of Us for PC to start playing, because at release it was in such a bad state.
Yeah, I’d subscribe to that.
It would be nice to get those announcements. I still hang on to twitter to get updates on downtimes.
