I love KDE, but it’s bugs and weird issues with gtk apps that don’t support wayland, as well as other issues are getting to me. I’m now using more GTK apps, and am wondering if I should look at other DEs. I have little experience with linux desktop environments outside KDE. I like gnome, but it’s too heavy for my hardware, so I’m looking for something more along the lines of XFCE, but with wayland support. I’m not interested in tiling window managers because I find it unintuitive to have to plan out your workspaces and being fixed to rigid sizes with no layers. I’m also interesting in customization to some extent. What do you all think?
