This is little more than a public relations exercise - when the status quo in France becomes really threatened, they will turn to these very same nazis to protect it in a heartbeat… just like any other political establishment would.
This is really no different than the Derek Chauvin case - they will happily throw a few of the (completely expendable) white supremacists under the bus to spare the rest from scrutiny and divide the justified anger the population feels toward them. But if you think that this in any way alters the role that right-wing ideology performs for the status quo you are pretty naive.
