Star Wars Episodes 7, 8 and 9 should’ve been done as properly planned and competently produced movies instead of the laughable excuse for a dumpster fire they are.

Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed 7. Was in IMAX on opening night and had pretty heavy nostalgia glasses on so that tinted it a bit. 8 was fine, cool visuals. 9 completely went out the window imo.

I seriously feel this one. But for me it’s because I’m absolutely trash at that genre of game. The music and story are fucking amazing for a game I otherwise find so bleh.

Most superhero movies should just be roller coasters. Or maybe one roller coaster for Marvel, and one for DC, and you get a different hat depending on the exact hero.

Wheel of Time on Amazon should’ve been animated. It might not have sold as well or whatever the execs wanted but it would’ve been way cheaper to produce something so much better.

That show is awful. I slogged through the first season hoping it would get better and it only got worse. The only positive thing I could say is I liked the actors who played Nynaeve, Lan and Mat.

I was shocked it got another season and more shocked that they kept the unqualified showrunner. I hope they cancel it after season 2 and someone else tries again in a few years.

I think the new Ahsoka show should have been animated, in the style of Clone Wars OR Rebels.

I think Rosario and the other stars did a good job, there are just things that would have been better in animation, like lightsaber battles.

I’d like to see every major first person game franchise shift to VR. They don’t because the money’s not there. The money’s not there because they don’t.

Well, they also don’t because vr is a completely different skill set than computer based shooters (similarly see console vs. PC shooter experts struggle on the other platform), VR makes a large portion of the population sick as fuck, space and cost requirements make it inaccessible to a large portion of the FPS player base, and, well, it’s fucking hard to wear that shit for more than a few matches.

I totally agree with the skill issue. It’s also more physical. Many people can’t or don’t want to move so much. There’s a reason competative VR gamers are called “sweats”.

Also true some people get motion sickness. I did at first too. But I’ve never met anyone that didn’t get their VR legs simply by playing until they felt sick and playing again the next day. After a week or two they’re fine. Most games have comfort settings to make this easier.

Space is only an issue for a few games like boxing. I do most of my gaming in an RV. A lot of other people play sitting down.

Cost can be a lot if you’re diving into PCVR without an existing gaming PC. Otherwise you just need an RTX (even a 2060 will do) video card and a headset (A Pico 4 is like $400).

Headsets have been getting lighter and lighter. Ok Meta has failed to improve weight and comfort but every other manufacture has made improvements with each iteration.

It’s sad that most people’s only VR experience is with a shitty Quest 2. That’s like using a Razr flip phone and thinking it’s the modern cell phone experience. Sure it works but it’s old entry level gear.
