I understand their concern. When you get life insurance they basically say “give us access to all your medical information or else we won’t give you a policy”…so people rightfully say fuck it, I won’t get the test so they can’t use it against me.

Well, it’s a start. There’s plenty of other reasons not to give your genetic sequence data to a private company, too.
