Disinformation is another vector for governmyth control of speech that they find inconvenient

Maybe there is some truth to it, but using twitter under musk as an example makes me not believe it and makes you sound like a nutjob.

Assuming you’re not making this argument in bad faith (lol), why would private companies be any more trustworthy? They have every motivation to push whatever narrative their owners (read: advertisers) will pay for.

Of course they do, but doing your own research is the way to fix it, not suppressing a viewpoint you dont like. I should be able to say whatever i like as that is my choice. However, it is your choice whether or not to block me if you dont like my views

doing your own research is the way to fix it,

Ah yes, the classic Im jUsT aSKiNg qUEsTi0nS dogwhistle.

Googling and reading is not “doing research.” Research is hard, strictly methodical work and conducting tightly scoped experiments, not obsessing over conspiracy influencers to reinforce your own confirmation bias.

That’s what got us into this mess of idiots destroying cell towers (because they were causing COVID… somehow?) and groups standing around a boulevard in Texas totally convinced that JFK would be rounding the corner any minute now.

Man, that was really hard to read with a screen reader with all the random capitals. You have to read differing viewpoints and come up with your own conclusions.

Also, for the record, 5G does not cause cancer and is not a method to mind control humans or cook us. The new mmWave frequencies are seriously attenuated by just rain and totally blocked by skin. Plus RF power falls off with the square of distance. Standing a normal distance from a cell tower the sun is more harmful.
