The better option, just in that we need a change of direction and Powell’s marginally - marginally! - more likely than Phillipson to argue for the right thing.
How does compare to Rayner though?
Inferior in most ways, IMO. But if she knows how to fill out a tax return… could be a slight improvement.
Powell is the one that creates most headaches for Starmer so I’m glad she won. I can’t stress enough how much my hopes for things vis-a-vis the Labour have become “I hope the worst thing for Kier Starmer happens” because I have zero faith in good things happening anymore with them
Meh. Nothing will change. The leadership do not care what anyone but their donors think.
