- This is fantastic news. Fuck g00gle - 100%
- What is this dirty language!? - Next time please say “Fuck g**gle” Thank you
- Yep Google has done a lot for us over the years but they have become fat and evil and it’s time to move on.

- Yeah, I’d happily buy a non-pixel device if it can run graphene
- Literally the only reason I bought a pixel. If they do this and it isn’t shit, it my current pixel might be my first and last.
- Good for them. This is 100% in the spirit of open source and basically what Amazon tried to do a decade or more ago… and failed.
- This is cool for most people, but if you’re doing anything even remotely not liked by the state, they will probably use you owning this as evidence you are a criminal. People in Europe were already getting profiled for having pixel phones by the police bc of Graphene OS. - Are you talking about the situation in Catalan? - The way I’m reading it is more like: “many criminals are using graphene” rather than “graphene users are criminals”. - It’s a small step from one to the other, I’ll admit.

- My hunch is that the OEM is looking to go after enterprise phone sales and views Graphene as a competitive advantage for that market. - Blackberry seems like a natural fit, but I don’t know what their manufacturing capacity is looking like these days.
- Don’t disappoint me. I’d love to buy a non-Pixel GrapheneOS-supported phone. It won’t be long before I’m in the upgrade market neither.
