She was homeless for years but now she’s dead people care about her. Ok. Got it.
As the article states, lots of people in the community cared for her when she was alive, and took the time to speak to her, and help her out.
It’s rather simplistic to say that if people cared then she wouldn’t be homeless. The government needs to build more affordable social housing to end homelessness.
