The supervised consumption site would allow people to inject drugs, with staff on hand to respond to overdoses and guide people toward treatment. The centre wouldn't supply drugs but offer a space for supervised use.

    Oh good. Now the only ones who will inject near schools and daycares will exclusively be the type who don’t bother going to supervised injection sites.

    I work in a sober living home mere moments from there. We have a mobile overdose prevention van in our lot 2x a week. AMA
