    Mythbusters debunked this, although they used a football field sized sheet and forklifts, but they were able to fold it 11 times. The myth they tested was 7 times being impossible.

      Another myth is that because the thickness doubles on every fold that it would reach the moon before you could fold it … X times.

      I’m bored, so I figured it out. A thin piece of office paper (0.05 mm) would need to folded 43 times to reach the moon.

      The world record is 12.
