Each of them has the potential to contribute to addressing the ecological, social, and economic challenges facing our society, yet I suspect that most are not taking any action.

These people are some of the biggest money junkies on earth. They are so addicted to money that they wouldn’t mind wrecking everything around them for some profits. At this point I don’t think they qualify to do anything good for society

I don’t know about all of them. Surely they all do some kind of charity stuff.

The ones I do know about are:

Anders Holch Povlsen (Denmark) is buying a lot of land in several countries for rewilding.

Ortega (Spain) did a lot to fight cancer by donating 0.3 billion euros which was used for detection machines to the hospitals.

Absolutely they could all give more, otherwise they wouldn’t be on the list.

However, the situation about Ortega’s donation also shows the difficulty in just throwing money at problems, because obviously people started arguing if it was spent well enough and so on.

With that much money, it is going to be difficult to get rid of it without disrupting something. It often turns into a political shit show.

They shouldn’t have it to begin with.
