So a handful of guys thought they seize land and hold off an entirety of Canada’s Police and Mikitary to hang onto it. They have played too many video games or watched too many movies.
I wonder if they were French successionists or if they were white nationalists. The article doesn’t mention that.
I would definitely put my money on white nationalists.
Seperationists don’t tend to join the Canadian military, nor would they typically display stickers of the American flag on their trucks as you can see in one of the images on the article. Also, when’s the last time the souverainiste mouvement got violent? I can’t think of anything more recent than the early '70s.
They seem to be playing things close to the vest for now, but I’m sure that will all come out in time.
