I was so happy when rumors were circulating about Susie Wolff tossing her hat in the ring, but she’s stated she’s not going to try this time.

Not sure who else could unite people, help progress the sport, and survive politically, but I agree, MBS needs to go, he’s been a disaster.

Sainz and Wolff dropping out after multiple national automobile clubs have already thrown their support behind Ben Sulayem. Looks like they know they wouldnt have a chance how it stands right now.

I hope at least the european clubs will vote against him. Hugely disappointing to see clubs from South America and other places support Sulayem.

I had my hopes up too for a bit, Susie Wolff would be great. Sadly it will be tough to usurp MBS as the way I understand it many of the voting nations have profited from his reign and care about nothing else. Same story as with FIFA.

Just from what I know as a VERY casual fan and follower is that MBS being re-elected will likely end my interest in the sport.

Again as a casual outside observer and fan, he has been seen as nothing but a detriment to F1 and its prestige.
