I’m sure there must be some out there, but in the English speaking world I’d say it’s the most unique name I’ve heard.

    Yeah, the only place I heard it was from that story, Sigourney Howard, a peripheral character. No other Sigourneys ever (in my experience).

    I’m sure somebody must know a real one.

      Is it not a historical name? Like people have great great grandparents with this name maybe?

        There is Sultana al-Sigurnai of the Ummayad Caliphate, but I don’t know if that name would have been quite as popular in Western countries because I just made that up
