It shows me you responded, and it does an @ to me for every response you do to me. That explains a lot of the comments I see here on lemmy suddenly. Everyone using an @ is not on lemmy, probably!
Oooo, good to know! Now testing with removing the @ and seeing what it does.
Interestingly, it did remove the @. So people can remove that and not have it for lemmy’s side, where it’s not needed for alerts or anything, you get an alert for it being posted in the thread or directly responding.
