Donald Trump ripped into Iran and Israel for violating a ceasefire deal within hours of his triumphant announcement.
“You basically have two countries that have been fighting so long and so hard that they don’t know what the f— they’re doing! Do you understand that?” he told reporters Tuesday morning on his way to the NATO summit in The Hague.
He’s the one that cultivated the cult of personality. Some have tried to use it, but trump still has the final say on everything. I imagine if Trump disappeared, the base would fracture.
Fracture to where?
We already know conservatives are literally incapable of voting for anyone that doesn’t have an “R” next to their names. They may not worship the next one the way they worship Daddy Trump, but they’ll all 100% vote for whoever it is.
Fracture to irreverence where the component pieces eat each other. There is no future for the party after Trump except as various fringe groups claiming to be the “true” party.
