I’ve seen a company in the Netherlands uses these boston dynamic dogs to walk around, follow a line and scan stuff to see if it still works. And it looks very futuristic and kinda off in a way, because i’m just not used to see something walk around like that. But the more i thought about it, the more it seems like a gimmick. There were no obstacles, so the thing could just have wheels. I’ve build lego roboters that could follow a line over 20 years ago. And them having to physically walk around to scan checkpoints, seems useless. But i also don’t know anything.
