As much as I don’t like that one head its the obvious use case. Lots of stop and go over a relatively smallish distance with a facility to recharge overnight.
They look a little silly, but postal workers seriously love their new duck-mobiles! Please don’t let them take them away from them. ☹️
It’s just like they’re looking at the list of things that most people think are good ideas (EV mail trucks, not selling the land our national parks are on, etc), and laughing about it while they cancel or reverse every single one.
They are literally bullies in every sense of the word and I’m fucking pissed.
The worst part is they have spent far more on charging infrastructure by now than vehicles.
Everyday has this “this must be the dumbest thing i ever heard” moment. And it just doesn’t stop. :(
What a bizarre, nonsensical waste of money. Can they at least postpone the auction until they have a superior replacement available? That should postpone it for a couple of decades.
The goal is to bankrupt the usps and sell it off to this parties.
That would presume they’re actually interested in solutions.

Pretty big for some of us. My brother has been talking about buying a minivan to build into an RV and I’ve been wondering about sleeping in my EV with HVAC, and towing a utility trailer with supplies to build out an EV site with all the comforts of home
