One of the recycle your phones programs sent all of the usable but unsellable ones to shelters and assistance centers to be given out. Not sure if it’s still a thing because every politician in my region has been anti homless via police removal and never even glancing at root causes. I probably would have volunteered for the mandatory school volunteer hours prepping the phones if it existed at the time but even by grad not even every student had a phone so there wasn’t much surplus. just back in my day things…
