It’s my guess that they either have 1) weapons manufacturers donating to them or 2) have weapons manufacturing in their district (which they see as “job creation” for their constituents) or both.
Of course they have weapons manufacturers lobbying them. The government is literally the ONLY client for some of these clients. Who else are they going to sell their weapons of mass destruction to?
