Shame that many Americans are just too ignorant to realize what USA is losing right now, and how their literal crisis agent of a president now does damage to diplomatic and economic relations with Europe that will simply never heal. All the respect, all the soft power, all the things that were just status quo that nobody wanted to challenge out of convenience - all out the window.
When I grew up I was a huge fan of USA. Americans were cool, they landed on the moon, made the best movies and in the 70’s they made computers.
But the past 30 years, I realized their talk of freedom was hollow. And after that I soon realized that American society had become sociopathic.
Trump is the perfect image of American society. Whenever an American exclaims “this is not who we are”. I kind of get angry with them, because YES! this is EXACTLY who you are! And it’s been brewing for 50 years, and nobody (President or party line) since Carter tried to stop it.
I’ve been warning about it for 20 years now, and all that time I could only see it play out and getting worse and worse.
Of course Republicans are the main villains, but Democrats have actually been accomplishes a big part of the way.
