I wish I knew how to get Americans to care as much about their own welfare as they do whenever someone criticizes their preferred presidential candidate.

Two political parties in the US: one votes based on: “what’s best for everyone?” The other votes based on: “what’s best for ME?”

But here’s the kicker: the leadership of both parties (to varying degrees) only manages to administrate on what’s best for themselves.

“You do get defeated knowing that homes are so expensive after looking today,” Bartolini said. “I hope people in power, they change the price of things. There has to be a way to make everything go cheaper. There’s no way that it can just keep going up and up and up cause then people won’t be able to live.”

I think he wants to change it but maybe doesn’t totally understand the real options for changing it.
