    Eh this was solid advice 15 years ago, but today there is little chance that anything that happens during a protest, isnt already being recorded by cops, news crews, helis, drones. The difference is, they wont use their footage to prove crimes committed by the cops and military, but you can.

        If you take a picture while someone is throwing a molotov, could inverting the colour of their clothing THEN blurring it actually help? As they wouldn’t be able to see clearly but they would be trying to look for other pictures of someone wearing the wrong colour jumper.

          It might depend. If it’s not the only piece of evidence being used, then even an edited photo could be used as a data point to confirm another unedited one.

        Yes, but the implication is that the thing you post could be used against you or others no? What im saying is that anything you could post (in terms of pictures) has already been recorded by the people that would use it against you.
