I was staying at a friend’s place a couple months after top surgery and my chest was still sensitive. I was sleeping on the couch in front of the kitchen counter. My friend’s cat, Butters, is not allowed on the kitchen counter and he stays off of it… when my friend is in the room. My friend went into the bedroom to go to sleep and Butters promptly jumped on the counter… and then that ginger bastard jumps down right onto my chest.

Holy shit! At least it was past the 6 week mark I guess?! I can’t imagine it felt great, though! Thank god my cat was good and stayed off my chest, even if she didn’t understand why she suddenly wasn’t allowed on.

My tuxedo did this exact thing to me just the other morning. Though he landed on me so hard that he had to take a sec to shake it off before zooming out of the room.

My cat did this, when he was younger. Started from Nightstand 1, jumped over our bellies, got to Nightstand 2 and left the crime scene. Sometimes he just jumped over our heads, very closely. You could feel the air and some soft fur, were not touched, but flinched tho. He was so mean, but at the same time so cute.
