I deleted YT 6 months or so ago and only really used YT for premier league football highlights. Are there any other EU platforms that show prem football highlights? TIA

If you only need YT for videos and don’t want to get distracted, why not use alternative client such as PeerTube or NewPipe?
PeerTube is not an alternative client. It is its own video platform.
