I just started watching it after seeing someone comment about it, and I really like it, but the show is so short that I’ll probably be done by the end of the week

Does anyone have any other recommendations?

I have never actually played any ttrpg, but I got the itch now and I have to scratch it while I look for groups to actually play it

if the improv is the part that you really enjoy, anything on Dropout is worth checking out.

yup! It used to be a part of CollegeHumor, but has since entirely replaced it such that “CollegeHumor” only exists on legal documents. Dimension20 is produced by Dropout, along with a ton of other improv-based shows. Game Changer is probably the most well-known after Dimension20.

Highly recommended. The different seasons all have wildly different tones and settings. There are a few they’ve revisited (three seasons of Fantasy High, so far, for example), but for the most part they just keep trying new stuff.

    Faster Purple Worm! Kill! Kill!

Every episode is a one-shot with a different group of level 1 adventurers that culminates in a TPK to a way overpowered boss like a Beholder, Tiamat, etc. How they die and the story that’s told is what’s important. Lots of cool guest comedians/actors and TTRPG celebs. You can stream it for free on Plex.
