F that. If I paused the show I need it paused. Maybe I paused it so I can answer the phone and I don’t have noise in background. Or maybe I paused it because I actually want to see something on the freaking screen. Not a stupid ad. And yes, I do pause things a lot to look at what’s actually on the screen. This is a moronic move. On a sidenote, it won’t affect me because I don’t have an Amazon prime. But it does concern me that these companies are doing this crap sooner or later they will affect me.

But that’s also why buy physical media discs. I pause rewind and fast-forward as I want to , watch when I want to. These companies can kiss my butt.

I pause often too so i can read something, or look at pros and other details.

I let my prime lapse last month, first time since its inception.

Netflix will show full screen ads when you pause whatever you’re watching like 50% of the time. You can just “back out” of that screen back to the paused show and they don’t play sound, but still.

I stopped watching amazon when they introduced ads just for their other shows. No chance I go back with this.
