Not AI related, but reminds me of what happened at X when Musk let a bunch of folks quit and then had to beg for some of them to return. This is another example of a poorly thought out boomerang.

No, it was them. That was a moment of clar…weakness, and now the CEO is sure he’s right again.

It may have helped them shrink the workforce by convincing them to do it, but that does not also mean that it was a positive and permanent action.
