No one cares more about if you have a penis or not, and wants to see it, than a totally straight, god fearing, Christian republican.

I swear, transphobes will claim all trans people care about are mutilating genitals while the phobes run around screaming at people demanding to know what’s in their pants, regardless of whether they’re a minor or not.

I still use the men’s room because I am early in transition and my tits aren’t big enough yet. I’m basically waiting for the first man to see me and tell me I’m in the wrong place, then I will know I can probably use the ladies’

The restroom narrative is fucking insane.

I was sexually assaulted as a teenage girl, by another teenage girl in a restroom in high school.

Sexual predators are going to be predators. They don’t care about the rules.

For the sake of argument, let’s say there is a hypothetical trans person who wants to assault someone in a bathroom. The whole argument assumes that people who don’t respect “you can’t assault people” laws will respect “you can’t enter that room” laws. They’re already planning a much more serious crime! They’ll just ignore both laws! So dumb.

I think American stalls are designed that way specifically to make them less private in the hopes it will keep people from boning or doing drugs in them. Just another facet of American life made worse with puritanical/punitive culture.

We’re lucky they even have doors, half the schools I went to in conservative towns ripped them off to ‘keep kids from smoking’ in the bathrooms.

I think they just have a fetish for watching people shit.

Hell, kid might start smoking to deal with poop anxiety it creates. Nicotine literally helps with constipation. Lol

Do transphobes know of the existence of manly, burly trans men? One of those muscular, bearded dudes walks into a woman’s room because it’s their “birth assigned” bathroom and they would lose their shit

For clarity, I am going to use man/woman in reference to gender and male/female in reference to sex.

Always said this is exactly the way to protest those laws. Get the burliest, most masculine trans men you can find and engage in malicious compliance.

The conservatives and the TERFs are totally aligned on this one - and their thinking boils down to a few points:

      1. You cannot change your sex.
      2. Male persons are evil, dangerous predators.
      3. Predators will do whatever they need to to get better access to prey.
      4. Sex-segregated spaces are segregated by sex, not gender and exist in order to protect female persons from predators by limiting access to them by male persons while in a vulnerable position.

…and that’s really it. You might notice that trans men are totally irrelevant to all of that, since they only really care about women’s spaces. To them a trans man using the men’s room is only putting themself at risk and doing so by their own choice, while a trans woman is endangering the cis women in the space against their will by existing.

Hey, some of us are fat Reddit neckbeards too. Not all trans men are muscle-y man hunks.

I think I’m supposed to use the women’s restroom? Tbh, not sure if my drivers license even counts anymore. Might as well dig out the fedora and some Pepe the frog shirts, if they’re going to make me piss in the women’s, I’ll “milady” every female in sight.

It’s solid advice to listen to what they say, because they are actually confessing what they want to do.

“If we defind the police people will go around killing everyone they want”

… Uh … How many people do you WANT to kill? Because my number is 0…

And of course this is another clear example.

“They are trying to creep on young girls”

Uh… Why do you’re state make it legal to touch children’s genitals if you’re proving their gender and force people to undress for you to use the bathroom???

    A more personal one:

“They are forcing their lifestyle on us!!!”

Uh… Is it okay with you guys if I’m asexual?

“No! That asexual means your gay and gay people are child molesters. So stop being asexual”

Technically my number is not 0. And the police really only protect the small percentage of people in this world that deserve the guillotine. So, in a way they’re right about that one. Just not in the way they think they are.

I understand the guillotine comments. Let me you ask you this if I was magic and offered you a choice

You could execute these people and it would be legal

Or you could change the things they did.

        Which would you prefer?

Depends on what you mean by “change things they did”.

If that was the case they wouldn’t be those people anymore.

Capitalism isnt failing because of some moral failure of the wealthy. It’s failing because of its contradictions.

The guillotine is simply a symbol of revolution. Revolution does not require violence if the ruling class gives up it’s power. But, historically, they never have. And the Capitalist class will not either. So violence is necessary in response to the state structures of violence.

So, I guess my point is that I’m not saying I want to kill capitalist. But, historically, the ruling class does not want to give up their class position and so violence is required to destroy the structures that uphold their class position.

I have some genuine questions for you.

Do you think men go through months (or years) of hormone therapy, potentially go through sex reassignment surgery, buy thousands of dollars worth of women’s clothing and makeup and accessories, get their name legally changed and all their legal documents replaced, and subject themselves to being bullied from every angle including from the state, just to get a peek at a woman’s naughty bits in a public bathroom?

If a sign on a door works to keep trans women out of women’s bathrooms, do “gun free zone” signs work to keep shooters out of schools? Do you think the people who don’t care about laws against sexual assault care about bathroom laws?

The bottom line is this: Men already generally don’t go in the women’s bathroom. The men who want to assault women aren’t going to upend their entire life by pretending to be a woman just to gain entry to a bathroom, and they certainly aren’t going to care about a sign on a door. They’ll just assault women as they have been doing since the dawn of time, no skirt and matching heels necessary.

No, Some people believe that your gender is decided by the person and is fluid and can be changed whenever. Some people believe your gender accompanies your sex and is set at birth.

Sopme people believe folks should be who they are, and others want to force them into boxes, discriminate against them, and generally poke their nose into shit that’s none of their business, and that they poorly understand in any case.

Most of those same folks in the second group are real big on taking rights away from anyone who isn’t like them. (GOP is, after all, the party of taking things away, and has been for as long as I can remember.)

And no one really wants that shit here, or has much tolerance for it.

You are getting what you want in the streets right now, a lot of terror being visited on those who don’t conform to the maga worldview. They’ll get around to physically attacking queer folks soon instead of just trying to take their rights away. So go ahead and enjoy it until we find a way to put a stop to it, but don’t come here to try spreading more of your baseless shit and expect a warm welcome.

I dont belong to any party thanks. I do find it interesting that your side has taken the position that anyone that disagrees with you in any way is your enemy. Ultimately that position will make recruiting voters for your cause more difficult. The other side’s messaging and strategy seems far more effective and the diversity in their voting base and increased margins of minority supporters\LGBTQ\female voters would indicate your side will not return to power anytime soon(unless they lose them). Have you ever thought of adopting a different approach?

You are willfully spreading bigotry via strawmen and a poor understanding of those you seek to oppress. That’s what makes you my enemy. Not that you disagree “in any way.”

I dont belong to any party thanks.

So? No reason to think you voted for anyone other than Trump based on positions you’ve expressed. And even if you did, you are clearly on board with the destruction of everything that doesn’t center cis white hetero men as is currently taking place.
