Don’t stop. Escalate. This shouldn’t be a brief trend to change your social media profile picture for. It will go away if the usual apathy sets in. They are invested in that happening like it always does. So don’t stop.
This needs to be the message everywhere. We now know that this movement has a massive following all over the country; the resistance has the numbers. Now it’s time to turn those numbers into sustained, escalating action.

I liked that one post where a deep red, tiny town had 37 people show up. That’s what we need. Local friends and neighbors seeing us say, “No. Cut your bullshit.”
But sure, I’d bet Musk and Trump are tossing and turning, losing sleep over this. The Republican legislators are watching with a worried eye and the Democrats are doing whatever the fuck it is they do.
