President Donald Trump isn’t attending the dignified transfer of four American soldiers who died in Lithuania, because he has instead chosen to attend a Saudi-backed golf tournament at his country club in Doral, Florida.

We knew this from the last time around

Evidence suggests they do not make the correct choice

Also my understanding was that Gen. Milley didn’t go along with troops on the streets during the pandemic/protests when Trump wanted it. Hence the stripping of the general’s security detail and clearance by our whiny bitch president on his return.

Do people who make good choices decide to join the violence industry in the first place?

This is an oversimplification of the situation. The US built everything so degrees are practically mandatory then makes the poors choose between life crushing debt or getting an education through the military. They prey on children of poor families. Obviously ‘not all marines’ and whatnot but come on a lot of times it isn’t actually a comparable choice and even when it is they’re still kids who often don’t know better

      • I served as a Medic. We carried weapons. And I used my GI Bill twice. I’m still working as a civilian Paramedic. That was a good choice for me.

I hate Cheeto Chimp and all of the MAGAts. So, some can make smart decisions.
