No? My vote for President literally does not matter in California. I voted for Harris because Fuck Trump, but my vote doesn’t mean shit in this state. I literally have more value voting 3rd party than I do for either major candidate because of how the Federal Election Funding requirements work for 3rd parties.

It does. Because the popular vote matters. It sends a message. Before this election it could be said that since 1988 Republicans have only won the popular vote once. Just once. That tells us that the will of the people has been denied many times in the last 30 years.

It matters. Now we can’t point at Trump and say he’s in power against the will of the people. Because the majority voted for him. Because dumb assholes stayed home.
